Does Scouting Help?  With advanced studies it was found that Scouting delivers leadership, careers, morals, values, and ethics.  These ideals are very much needed in today's society.  This study shows that the longer the boys are in Scouting they are more likely to acquire leadership roles in their school, put the needs of others before themselves, make honest decisions, not the easiest, and value education and the environment.

The Boy Scouts of America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations. The BSA provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and develops personal fitness.

The Boy Scouts of America believes — and, through nearly a century of experience, knows — that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible, and productive society.
